Suziria Group, a family group of companies that has been developing the Ukrainian pet market for more than 30 years, announced the creation of the Suziria Charity charity fund to scale up its assistance to tailed friends. At the same time, the group of companies is starting a project to help the House of Tails shelter, which takes care of animals with disabilities. Such an initiative is already a tradition because every year, when celebrating a birthday, the Suziria Charity team (charity direction of Suziria Group) chooses a new partner for continuous support.
According to the Ukrainian Pet Association Worldwide (UPAW), Ukraine is among the top ten countries with the largest number of homeless animals. Evacuations from war zones take place every day, but there is a shortage of places in shelters. At least 140,000 animals need the help of volunteers, including ones with disabilities.
Suziria Charity charity fund launch

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Suziria Charity has supported 88 charitable foundations, cooperated with almost 400 volunteers, and donated about 300 thousand kg of fodder for charity. And in January 2024, the company announced a new important step — the launch of the Suziria Charity charity fund. Given the wide range of international partners of the group of companies, one of the goals of the charity fund is to give the international community the opportunity to help and together change the lives of animals for the better. Already now, the organization unites various initiatives, working side by side with other charitable foundations, animal shelters, volunteers and animal defenders.

Help to the House of Tails shelter
For its 31st anniversary, Suziria Group continued the annual tradition of “giving rather than receiving gifts” and decided to invest UAH 500,000 in the shelter of Anastasia Tykha. House of Tails is the largest shelter in Ukraine for animals with physical and mental disabilities. Currently, there are 160 animals, including 37 dogs and cats with disabilities, and volunteers actively accept dogs, including those from the frontline areas.
“Renovation of the shelter’s main building will allow for the installation of equipment for physiotherapy and rehabilitation, as well as providing an area for walking in winter. We thank our partner for the fact that “special tails” will receive the necessary care and attention that they deserve so much,” shares Anastasia Tykha, the founder of the House of Tails shelter.
The shelter chosen for assistance is not a random decision. In the summer of 2023, a group of companies opened a mural with the image of Anastasia Tykha to draw public attention to the problem of homeless animals and the importance of adopting four-legged friends. Since then, Suziria Charity has been actively supporting the shelter and has already donated more than 1,000 kg of feed and necessary pet supplies to volunteers.
