The chain of pet stores, MasterZoo, launched the initiative “I have paws!” to support the development of a culture of cleaning up after pets. Now you can ask pet stores for a free bag that will help you clean up after tailed dogs during a walk.
All-Ukrainian chain of pet stores MasterZoo launched the initiative “I have paws!”. The retailer has developed special information boards and posters that encourage people to clean up after dogs when walking outside, and if you don’t have a bag with you, you can get one free of charge at the nearest MasterZoo.
Information boards will be placed near MasterZoo outlets. In addition, customers of the pet store at the checkout will be able to get the same sign free of charge to place near their houses or green spaces or a similar information poster for distribution at entrances, elevators, and other relevant areas.
The initiative was launched in a test format in all chain pet stores in Dnipro and Lviv, as well as in several retail outlets in Kyiv.
“Love and care for tailed individuals is not only about goodies and toys; it is also about cleaning up after them on the street. We decided to remind you that our pets have paws, and therefore, they cannot clean themselves, so they need help. “I have paws!” — our pilot. In the future, we plan to expand it to other cities where MasterZoo is present. We believe that by moving in small steps together with our customers, we will increase the culture of cleaning up after furry ones and make our cities even more pet-friendly,” — said Tetyana Kornienko, marketing director of the omnichannel chain of pet stores MasterZoo.
After setting up the processes and analyzing the results of the test run, the initiative “I have paws!” will scale to other cities. We remind you that today, the network is represented in 36 cities, where 200 MasterZoo pet stores open their doors every day.
